This beach house was just what we needed. Enough room and comfort for everyone. Several places within walking distance to shop and eat although we rented a golf cart to get around the area because of older people in our group. It’s a nice area. I was worried about the traffic on the road since we were on a main road going from Hwy 98 to the beach but it wasn’t bad at all to get in and out of the driveway. Over all it was a great stay and pleasant experience.

Great location, close to the beach and near city life. The rooms were spacious and clean. The backyard was spacious for our dogs and the pool was great.

My husband and I stayed here the week of our wedding and it was amazing. Super close to shopping, dining, and the beach. There's a lot of space for big families and the backyard was perfect for our dogs.

Hubby and I had never been to the beach in Sept but we will definitely be doing it again!! Weather was perfect . . No humidity No afternoon rain showers!! No crowds to wait on tables for dinner!! The water was crystal clear and so warm (not chilly like I would've thought in Sept)!! The house was so clean, 2 king-size beds that were very comfy!!! Location was perfect too, just a short walk to beach! The home is located on semi-busy road so I would expect it to be noisier in the summer with activity but not bad at all in Sept. It was a great week!!! Thank you!!

We had a great experience on the property! What you see on the pictures is what you get. Walking distance from the beach was very convenient. And it feels like home right when you start your vacation. It was a little expensive, but it was worth it. 10/10 recommend!

This property was neat clean and very roomy space inside and out. Easy walk to beach. Located close to stores and restaurants. Decking and fenced in pool were awesome and private. Great lounge chairs on deck and around pool! Easy parking too. Perfect for family with small dog! Loved our stay!

My family and I have been vacationing in Destin the last couple of years and this is by far the best place we stayed. It's a short walk to the beach and to some restaurants/shopping areas. The place is very spacious and was really clean. The pool was perfect and they even had people clean it throughout the week which was nice. We will definitely be coming back!!!

Beautiful area. House was in a great location. Close to the beach. Nice pool and yard. The only complaints were the noisy appliances. Dishwasher, washer and dryer were so loud, we had to leave when they were running. The stove smelled of gas when we used it. We reported it immediately and someone came out very promptly. Besides those items, we had a nice stay.

Great place for a family vacation! The house was as advertised and in great shape - well stocked with staples for cooking, cleaning, plenty of towels etc. Only a short walk to the beach and a nice little cafe. Booking, check in and check out were a breeze. Some of the appliances were a past their prime, but very convenient to have on site. Overall great job - can't wait to visit again!

This was the second year I had stayed at sunkissed and had a very good winter, the only reason I am not taking it again is I do not have a dog and a smaller place will be fine for me. Spent Thanksgiving week here and loved it! Like that it is pet friendly and backyard was great for our dog as well. Great location to the beach and nice walk to a cafe too. Very comfortable house would definitely recommend it.

We only had a few days, but the house was perfect for our trip. Plenty of room for small gatherings and a great place for any guest to be accommodated. With the bedroom and bath downstairs and two nice big rooms on the second floor and the perfect boys or girls perch on the third floor. We will definitely be back!

We love staying at Sunkissed Cottage. We have stayed at the same location in the summer and now over Christmas and it is perfect each time. The house is in a great location, the pool is fabulous in the summer and the amenities are the best. Even when the weather is a little off, you still have so much to do and everything is so close. Sitting on the front porch early in the morning or on the upstairs porch in the evening, you feel so at peace and you can hear the ocean and it is just the best vacation possible. We love Destin and will continue to return to Sunkissed Cottage.

This was our first time renting a home and renting a home with another family to top it off., but we were so pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the home really was. Based on a few reviews, I had my eye out on a few items but I'm glad to say, as picky as I may be, The Sunkissed Cottage was great! Spacious rooms, 3 full baths all with enough towels and great wrap around porch. I think the best way to do it is to layout the pros and the cons: Pros: * After hours check in was so simple and conveniently located close to the home * For 8 people, everyone slept comfortably and everyone had a space to retreat to at the end of each night * Parking was good * Great distance from beach * Good size yard & decent pool * Washer / Dryer was a HUGE plus * Kitchen was equipped well * TV's everywhere * Outdoor Shower to get the sand off and right outside of the washroom / mudroom * Loved the wrap around porch on both level 1 & 2 * A/C was in great working condition on 3rd level despite the reviews which may have been old Cons (if I had to choose): * Comforters needed washing (this was the only thing that truly was a con) * My dog didn't like the backyard and refused to "handle" his business back there so we did a lot of walking * Living room layout was a little awkward, but only for 1 chair * Pans & knives were a little old but did the job nonetheless It's an older home with 80's fixtures & low vanities but it is all in good condition and clean! If we go back to Destin, we'll be staying at the Sunkissed Cottage again!

Just returned from our 2nd trip to Destin, renting through Newman-Dailey Resort Properties - Sunkissed Cottage - SWEET!!!! The perfect place - beautiful house, swimming pool, fenced back yard, 2 blocks from beach - easy walk. 2 mins from restaurants, groceries, you name it... We were disappointed with a few things in the kitchen. Some of the pots did not lids so making rice was difficult, you gave us one trash bag and two packets of dishwasher soap for 7 people for a week, the knives were very dull, we barely had enough toilet paper and paper towels, and we could not get the grill to light. I feel that the kitchen needs to be able to accommodate a family. The amount we payed should equal what is expected for the price. We were happy with the sleeping accommodations, yard, and deck. The pool was extremely over chlorinated and burned our eyes. I would rather make these comments directly to you rather than but them for all to see. Thank you for listening.

Not big with words. My experience was a pleasurable one. It felt like home. It was beautifully decorated, designer's touch. The location was great. Just a couple of mins walk to the coast. Stores close by. This may sound corny but it had a great washer & dryer and the tv's in every room a bonus. I don't think the carpetting had been steam cleaned because my dog was sniffing around so I know there had to have been another pet there. The pots and pans were not great, over used, some needed throwing out, loose handles, which could be a hazard. I noticed on the tiles inbetween the lines had not been cleaned. Overall though we loved it. Newman Dailey Properties are No 1 in my books. Too bad the weather did not cooperate. Thank you.

The people at Newman-Daley were very nice and helpful. We left the polar vortex to head to Destin, one of our favorite places. This house was great, couple blocks from the beach, couple blocks from shopping. Very comfy house and yard,we would rent it again. Only couple things to mention: the vertical blinds needed to be cleaned and the baseboards,and the deadbolts need to be fixed.

We had a fabulous time and the service was great with Newman Daily. Could not have gotten any better of a location than this one. Walking distance to everything, even the grocery store. Beach excess and walking distance as well. I looked around at a lot of the beach rental houses here and by far Sunkissed Cottage is one of the nicest and kept up properties I saw there. Would like to stay there again sometime. Can't beat having the pool(perfect) and your own back yard for the dog. all amenities were there. I just recommended that it is time for a new couch and gas grill outside as well as a yearly spraying for insects. Thanks so much!! and hope to see you guys again. The Farley's atlanta, Ga

We had a wonderful time. The house was well maintained and clean. The pool and yard was well maintained and practical for our usage. We were pleasantly welcomed by the staff. The house was a short walk to the beach which was comfortable even in the heat. It is a very comfortable home with a nice size pool for all to enjoy. The only thing we had a problem with was getting out of the driveway, the neighbors plants at the roadside hindered our view when getting out of the property which at times were a bit dicey.

Sunkissed cottage was great! We'll probably rent it again next year. About a 4 minute watch directly to the beach access. Close to great restaurants. Clean, kept up, and comfy. The pool is the perfect size...not to big, not to deep, great for the kids. Nice big back yard. Hint: before June, get the pool heated to start with - it's worth it, and you can always have the heating turned off if you think you don' t need it. Great assortment of cooking tools for the meals you want to eat in. Plan to bring your own trashbags, paper towels, and toilet paper. Also, schedule your showers around each other - the hot water runs out after about 20 minutes, but reheats within about an hour. All in all, a great place and we can't wait to come back!

We had no working refrigerator for nearly three days.. The furniture (sofa bed and love seat) was in poor shape. The wi-fi was not working which really put our techie grandkids in a tizzy. All in all...we expected more. We started renting from Newman Dailey around 18 years ago. I can honestly say that this is the first time we were ever really disappointed. And...after seeing so many units that had not been rented, and we still had to pay for a full week...even though we couldn't use and didn't want to pay for a full week made it even worse.

My family and I arrived at "the Kiss" and we were very thrilled at the ease of the check in and having a house to our own. We were very happy with the cleaniness of the house and the location. We were close to everything we wanted to do. The beach is just a block away!!! It was a great neighborhood to walk our dog " a golden"! we loved it as well as our dog!!! Our only complaint would be the livingroom furniture and the guest king room bed. It is very uncomfortable as well as outdated however the rest of the house made up for it. We will definitely come back again!!!

My family and I have actually stayed in this home before in 1999 as well as other Newman Dailey properties. I do feel that it actually only works for about 7-8 people comfortably even though there is a "sofa bed". The home does seem a little worn and in need of a "deep cleaning" and updating & I do realize the time allowed to clean between visitors is minimal. We did make a call to Newman Dailey on the first day as the refrigerator was not cooling well & the upstairs bathtub was missing a drain stopper(both somewhat minor) we did get a call stating someone would follow up yet no one ever followed up. We did enjoy the private backyard and pool very much & location close to the beach. We love Destin yet may look for a more updated newer property the next time.

We had a wonderful vacation at Sunkissed cottage. We had everything we needed. There was a grill to grill out and the pool was warm enough to use even though it was late in the season. We will definitely be back

Everything was great except for the grill needs to be replaced, the upstairs bathroom had mold growing on the underside of the ledge, and the toilet brush container had dirty toilet water in it that had leaked on the rug.The beach house is conveniently located, cozy with a nice pool. I would recommend staying there, but the cleanliness needs to be addressed.

Sunkissed cottage was a perfect spot for us. Our kids loved the widow’s watch and would stay up there all day if we let them. Since we had another couple with us, we enjoyed the two master suites which provided plenty of room and privacy for each of us. The beach was just a couple minutes down the road and the pool was great after a long day at the beach.

Nice house with 2 master suites, Has a nice pool that would benefit from a little shade in back during the heat and sun of the afternoon, but that being said, we would comeback again. During the heat of the dy, the third floor area is quite warm, it could really use more a/c vents. It is very close to most everything.

We just got back from our trip to Destin and everyone just raved about the beautiful sunkissed cottage thaat we stayed at. We were there for my son's beach wedding and rented the house so we could have a small reception after the wedding. The people at Newman-Dailey were so great - helped us find parking space for our guests. They house has two great wrap around porches so we had plenty of room for food and guests. I would definitley recommend this house for it's spacious bedrooms and great pool and backyard space!

Perfect little cottage for our family. We fell in love with home the minute we walked in the door. It is in the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. Just up the road is the Destin Commons shopping center. The other directions just a few steps is the beach. You can even see the water from the upstairs widow’s watch. We had a lovely time and can’t wait to come back.

I think this is the Sunkissed Cottage we stayed in. The facilities were good and the location was great. Our family traditionally gets together at Destin over Thanksgiving. We all enjoy seeing each other, eating in and going out. Our walks on the beach were very good and we were able to go wading. Some of us - especially the kids - actually went in swimming.

This house is located in a great area!! Close to everything. Short walk to the beach as well. House has a great layout on the inside and very roomy. Only thing we didnt like was the fact that there was no direct access to the pool from the house. Also wish the house had two ac units. One was unable to really cool the upstairs, and especially the third floor room. We went at a time when it was not super hot, so the summer time would be worse.

This was our second trip to Destin and our parent's fifth or sixth trip. We have always stayed in a Newman-Dailey property, but this was the first time at the kiss. After driving nearly 800 miles through the night with a 1 and 4 year old, we were very happy to find that the check-in was once again quick and we were able to get into the house without any delalys. Once there, we found the house was spacious, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Having two master bedrooms was great for us and our parents and the third full bath was also helpful when getting ready in the morning or cleaning up after a long day of playing at the beach and swimming in the pool. The room on the third floor was a little warm, but we were able to adjust some of the vents and use a fan to keep it comfortable. We were a little concerned that traffic may be loud, but the noise was barely noticable inside and traffic was pretty light since it was late September. With the beach just a short walk away, we spent nearly every morning at the beach and the evenings relaxing by the pool. Overall, we had a great and relaxing week. The only concern we had during the entire trip was one afternoon we returned from the beach to find a new chair in the living room. We assumed the Newman-Dailey staff had brought it while we gone, but were a little concerned that other people were in the house with our personal belongings without our knowledge while we were not there. However, we would still recommend this house to any family.

Very pleased with every thing about the accommodations and service. One problem was in finding the sheets to make up the trundle bed Found set of sheets on the sofa in the living room This was the only problem Everything else was perfect.

We spent one week at the Sunkissed Cottage in Destin. Our stay was so nice. The house was beautiful, clean and well taken care of. We were within walking distance of the beaches. Everything worked perfectly in the house and one night the microwave broke (you need this with 6 kids!), and Newman brought us a new one before 9 the next morning. Excellent service. The location was in middle of everything - food, movies, entertainment. Plus, the pool was heated and clean. Our kids had a lot of fun searching the house for games, books, puzzles and DVD movies that are there.

We enjoyed out stay at the SunKissed Cottage. This was our first booking with your company. We were pleased with the location and the room the cottage offered. There were some minor repairs which needed attention but for the most part it was an enjoyable and relaxing vacation with some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. My family vacations at Destin every year and this was a great vacation of us. We would recommend using Newman Dailey again for our future vacations at Destin. Oh yeah, the fireworks were spectacular as well. The minor repairs were as follows: The carpet upstairs needed shampooing. Also, the widow's peek room on the third floor was very hot and therefore, we could not use it. Thanks, Kathy

We have been fortunate to come to Destin every year for the past 9! We have stayed in many houses. Usually we are with a party of 10. This time just 4 and sunkissed was perfect! The pool was so nice & clean. The backyard was big & comfortable and the gas grill was nice.. This house was great for two couples but more than three would be pushing it! As the 3rd bedroom gets used for easier pool access. Kitchen items were a bit scarse as far as spices, coffee filters ect. Things you don't want to think about spending money for on vacay. The road was never loud considering it was a busy one! Very close to the beach and shopping! We loved it and will be back soon!

We stayed at the Sunkissed Cottage in October and it had everything we needed and more. The kids even swam in the pool. It was all the space we needed for everyone to be comfortable and a grill for easy dinner it was close to the beach and we all had a great time.

Let me start by saying the folks with Newman-Dailey were wonderful. Very easy to work with, explained all the details making the reservation process worry free. Sunkissed Cottage was a great place to stay. We had 4 adults and 2 teenagers and it accomodated us perfectly. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants etc. Only complaint, and it's a small one, the cottage sits on a pretty busy street, other than that we had wonderful time.

4 guys on a golf trip. We rented from newman-daily last year. the house was nice and well furnished. the problem was we were locked out 2 times because the electronic lock malfunctioned. this caused us a big problem.

My wife and two children, age 1 and 5 absolutely loved our stay here. The house is only a few minute walk from the beach. The pool was perfect for a family of 4. My one year old loved the widow's watch for his sleeping quarters. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone and hopefully plan on coming back sometime soon.

Sunkissed Cottage was delightful. The pool was perfect for our three grandchildren. (We adults enjoyed it also) We all enjoyed the house and would stay there again. It is a great location in the center of everything Destin has to offer.
