Stairway to Hammock Heaven

Our family had a fun-filled visit with easy access to the ocean and plenty of pool time. The hammock chairs were an excellent way to end the evening after preparing delicious fish tacos in the well-equipped kitchen.

Perfect for our family. The kids loved the pool and was in a great location easy access to the beach, shopping, and food.

The house was amazing and very clean, had all the kitchen essentials needed and more, there was bath and dish towels provided which we didn’t know in advance so we did bring our own, would have been nice to know they were provided to plan accordingly but overall the location and house was beautiful. The on site washer and dryer was huge for us we used it a lot! We would book that house again anytime felt like home!

We had a wonderful stay at Stairway to Hammock Heaven! The house was clean, well supplied with everything we needed for our week’s stay. Walking distance to the beach no need for golf cart. Heated pool was a bonus for those cooler days. We had a couple minor issues that could not be helped, the Newman-Daily team was quick to respond and the maintenance team was very pleasant. Can’t say enough about this home!

We stayed at this property back in 2018 with my husband's family, and we loved it so much that we returned with my family. Everything was perfect! We had one problem, which was not being able to use the breakfast nook area. The table was detached from the base, so it was extremely unstable. Other than that, I am sure we will be back :)

The house is gorgeous, has everything we could possibly need. I specifically look for a heated pool because we stay in December. The kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of space for sleeping and just hanging out. The only things I wish the house had would be a bathroom outside of going through the bedrooms and a tub with jets. I wish the weather would have been better, we probably would have used the grill and the hammocks more. There is deck space everywhere and from every bedroom. To me, that was amazing. I would definitely suggest this house to friends/family and I’d love to stay again.

My family and I came down for the Thanksgiving holiday and we had an incredible stay. We usually go to Rosemary beach and were a bit hesitant. The house is exactly as listed and it’s very well taken care of. It was clean and had everything you could possibly need (especially in the kitchen). It’s only a 3-5 min walk from the beach and the neighborhood is quite nice. 10/10 would recommend and would stay here again.

Overall our group really enjoyed the house, location, and general area. The neighborhood was great, the house was clean and well maintained, the rooftop hammock chairs got plenty of use! We the pool was smaller in reality than expected and the driveway is tight for a full size pickup truck and minivan, though the description says provides parking for 3 average sized vehicles or 2 average sized vehicles and a golf cart. A first floor 1/2 bath or common bathroom would've been nice too, all said none of these things took away from our enjoyment of the property. Short walk to Crystal Beach, tons to do locally and overall a great vacation!

Very close to Crystal Beach and lots of restaurants. The house was comfortable for our party of 11. The pool was a little small for us, but the beach is about a block away and there is also community pool access. Altogether a good place to stay.

By far the best house- HANDS DOWN. Closeness to the beach made each day better than the last. The house was spotless and very efficient. Gorgeous kitchen/dining area, large family room and poolside was the icing on the cake. The hammocks and the view from above added to the relaxing atmosphere. The ice machine in the laundry room is a great idea. Our only issue was the lack of a separate bathroom on the first floor. Going through a bedroom at various times to use that bathroom was not a hassle, but was inconvenient at times. This is by far the place to be!

This was our second stay in this neighborhood. Great location, short walk to the beach. Great community pool. Stairway to Hammock heaven fit us perfectly - 4 adults and 6 kids. Looks bigger in the pictures, though. The only improvement might be a bathroom on the main level that you don’t have to go through a bedroom to get to. Well stocked kitchen, everything worked great and we were able to check in early in our first day. Kids didn’t want to leave!

This property worked out extremely well for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for when we were all together and then balconies attached to each bedroom in case you wanted to get away for alone time. This beach house is furnished with everything you need in the kitchen if you plan to do any cooking and/or baking. Its a very short walking distance to the beach. The only negative was the lawn service. It seems they are out at one of the surrounding houses every day and quite noisy. The backyard pool we used everyday and made it so convenient to cool off after the beach. I would definitely recommend this property for your Destin vacation and hope that we will be able to return soon.

We just came back from a week in Destin. Stairway to Hammock Heaven exceeded our expectations and then some. We had 8 people in in our group and the house fit us perfectly! We all had ample space and room to breathe. The home was decorated perfectly and the house was literally in the middle of everything! We will be back and definitely booking this spot again! Our family has rented Stairway to Hammock Heaven for several years now. The home is well maintained and the kitchen is its best feature. We all gather in the evenings for a family dinner and the space for serving and sitting is outstanding. The children love the pool and often swim in the evenings while the adults visit and unwind. The neighborhood also has a community pool that has a section that is shady which the grandparents love after being in the hot sun at the beach. The Newman Dailey staff is very efficient as well as friendly and go out of their way to make certain our stay is always hassle free. So many memories in this home and we look forward to making more next year.

This is a gorgeous home and we couldn't be happier to have found it to spend our vacation in. We had 4 adults and 5 kids - plenty of space and things to do for everyone. The house was beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone. We had 11 people, including 5 grandchildren ages 15 to 6 mos. All of them absolutely loved the pool. We did a lot of cooking “in” and the kitchen was great for that. The only negative we had was that the pots and pans were not very clean when they were put away and most of the cookie sheets were very rusty. Also, when we came back from the beach, we could not get the outside shower to work. Overall, a great time was had by all. We will definitely be back!

This a great home and we had a wonderful stay. We loved all the different balconies and sitting outside on the porch with the pool in the evenings. It is a very short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the community pool. The only drawbacks were that there wasn't a community bathroom on the bottom floor. We had to go into one of the other people we were staying with rooms to use the downstairs restroom or go upstairs. That was a little inconvenient and the pool was smaller than expected. Other than that, it was wonderful!!

As usual (2nd year) the stay was wonderful. Hammock Heaven is a great home in a great location. The only problem was the outside trash must have not been put out the previous Friday as the can was full. Also, the can was split open in several places and I called on Monday to get it replaced but it never was. Otherwise 5 stars.

Unfortunately the previous guest must have forgotten to put trash out on Friday for pick up by Waste Management. Thankfully we do have a system in place for trash pick up on the weekends so we can ensure our new arriving guests do not have to deal with the previous guests trash. We have a vendor who removes trash at all rental homes on Saturdays and/or Sundays, we do this as courtesy for our guests every weekend. We did confirm with Waste Management a new receptacle is on order however it can take 7-14 business days for the replacement receptacle to be delivered. We are grateful despite the initial trash issue, you were able to enjoy your vacation and still rate your stay and this home 5 stars. We look forward to your next stay with Newman-Dailey Resort Properties.

Our third year to stay at Stairway To Hammock Heaven for our family vacation. Great location and best stocked kitchen ever. Children loved the pool. Adults loved the eating spaces and the quiet low traffic neighborhood. We will absolutely reserve again. Parking not adequate but we already knew this.

We had an absolutely fabulous Christmas week in this beautiful home. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining and very well equipped. It is open, beautifully appointed and still very comfortable. We relaxed by the pool in the morning and walked the beach in the afternoons. Our weather did not cooperate but we loved our accommodations so much it did not matter. We absolutely loved our time in Destin and at Stairway to Hammock Heaven. The location was perfect for us and the house was spectacular in every way. Beautifully decorated, perfectly appointed and room enough for everyone to feel at home and comfortable. The weather did not cooperate but we were so happy with the house it did not matter. Our two families really enjoyed this beautiful house and pool with all the extras! The grand kids used the pool three times a day! Plus the location is just a short walk to the beach. The house is very family friendly. It was a great getaway since Iowa had 14 inches of snow the day we left. We celebrated our daughters birthday on Thanksgiving Day. The week just flew by. Great friends, great weather, and fun beach time! A couple big storms blew through, but that just added to the excitement of the week. We saw a sea turtle at the pier, a hammerhead shark there also. Some dolphins befriended us the day we rented a boat and went to crab island. We loved hanging out in the hammocks! It was a perfect spot for watching fireworks. We were treated to 4 sky writing planes on Friday evening....what a sight! We enjoyed meals in and out....Pompano Joe's is what we always do on our first or second night. This year we tried a new place...Mimmos. It's Italian and very good! Stairway to Hammock Heaven is great and it always serves us well....It's an awesome place to stay!

Our second year to stay at the Stairway To Hammock Heaven home. The location is Kid friendly. The kitchen is fantastic for family dinners. Extremely well stocked. The younger children loved the pool. We loved everything about this property. From the spacious kitchen stocked with everything you need for cooking, excluding food, to the comfortable living areas inside and out this home will not disappoint you. The rental home was by far one of our best in the many years of having an annual family reunion in Destin. The kitchen is not only gorgeous but so well stocked. The pool was perfect for the grandchildren after a day at the beach. The owners have added little touches and extras that all will appreciate. The staff at Newman Dailey is professional and personable and so easy to work with. We have already reserved for next year! Strongly recommend this property if you are not staying directly on the Gulf/Beach.

We loved the house, plenty big enough for 7 of us. The kitchen was great although we really didn't cook while on vacation but could have. Surprised that there wasn't extra plastic garbage bags which we usually find in other vacation homes. The pool was small but perfect for the grand kids, ages 2 and 4, BUT....... the pool person came to clean the pool on the evening of our first day when the kids had just started swimming so he offered to come back "tomorrow". He never did show up and by day 3, the pool was getting dirty. We made a couple of calls to Newman Daily and were told that they would send someone out. Besides the pool issue, everything else was great. We loved the oversized wagon which we used to tote all our stuff to the beach, the beds were comfortable, internet wifi worked great and they even had a Netflix account so the kids watched their favorite movies in the evenings.

My daughter, her husband and children and I thoroughly love this property. We visited two years ago when the baby was little and were blown over with all of the extras. It has been remodeled and has everything you need. The best part is its closeness to the beach.

My family stayed 8 nights at "Stairway to Hammock Heaen" over the Christmas holiday. Despite the cool dreary weather we had a great time. The house exceeded our highest expectations. The newly renovated kitchen with the large island served us well for cooking, dining and socializing. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes and utensils for us to prepare meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and easily accommodated our family of nine. We especially like the board games and puzzles, TV's in all of the bedrooms, gas grill, separate ice maker, and lots of outdoor furniture. We really got the impression that the owners really care about the house and you are staying in their personal home. upon arrival the house was clean and bright with lots of decorations that give the home a personal touch. The house is located in a very nice neighborhood with only a short walk to the beautiful sugar sand beaches of Destin as well as being convenient to shopping. We hope to return again in Spring or Summer!

We had the most wonderful vacation at your beautiful home! The amenities were wonderful. We needed nothing because everything was provided! We walked to the beach every day,and enjoyed the pool also. We also enjoyed being so close to malls and restaurants. My grandson and I enjoyed the bicycles you provided, and the wagon was perfect for beach. The hammocks were so relaxing and it was so much fun to watch sunsets and clouds up there! My family hopes to return next year!

This property was everything we needed and then some. The kitchen lacked nothing. Our 4 grandsons could not get enough of the pool...it was just what we needed. It is an easy walk to the beach with a wagon full of toys. Check out the community pool...it is great too. Crystal Shores is a great community and we would recomend it to everyone.

Stairway to Hammock Heaven is a beautiful home! A total of 8 of us stayed a week at this beautiful property. The home meet all all needs. The kitchen was wonderful and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The closeness to the beach made for quick trips! the only problem we encountered was the pool not being warm enough and it making a gurgling sound. Newman-Dailey did respond promply to our need. We felt like the pool guy emptied too much water out and did not add enough when he left because adding water made it much warmer and the gutgling stopped. We would definitely stay here again! thank you for sharing your home with us!

Super spacious home with plenty of room to stretch out and each one of us had our own hideaway when we wanted some privacy. The home is beautifully decorated, we felt like the beach came to us. The views are excellent from the upper balcony with the hammocks and is so relaxing after being at the beach all day.

I recommend this house for anyone looking for a place that has alot of convenient qualities. We vacationed with a five year old, four year old, myself, my husband and both of our mothers. There was plunty of room for use to relax and the beach was not a fare walk from the house. The wagon that is provided was great. It held eveything we need to take to the beach and rolled on the sand easily. Our family loved staying here and are looking forward to coming back.

We truly felt like we were in Heaven at this house. It is located in a lovely community so close to the beach, yet it is quiet and private. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a week long relaxing vacation. We enjoyed being able to grill out and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The private pool was great especially with the little ones. We absolutely loved our stay and didn’t want to leave!

This house was truly a home for a week. It exceeded our expectations. The decor was so inviting. It offered many extras that made it even more special. The board games were very handy on the rainy days. The beach wagon was fantastic. The ice maker was the king of the extras! We had a group of 10 and had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen was stocked great including several pitchers and baking pans and cookie sheets that are often overlooked. The neighborhood was beautifully landscaped and quiet. we felt very safe in this area. We called the office for a few things and they were very prompt, courteous, and pleasant. We just can't say enough about the house and the Newman-Dailey Company. Don't hesitate on reserving this house.

We had a great time at "Stair" With two little one's the swimming pool was great. We enjoyed the separate fish fryer and huge pot. We used this for fresh shrimp boils!

My family and I including daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren had a fabulous time at Stairway to Hammock Heaven. The wagon was put to great use traveling to the beach with the grandkids in tow. My daughter and son-in-law loved the house and all of its perks including the private pool too. Would definitely return!

Newman-Dailey always provides excellant service, which is why we are repeat customers. Stairway to Hammock Heaven is our favorite vacation house so far (this was our third trip to Destin) and we hope to return there frequently. The house had everything we needed, the patio and pool were fantastic, the balconies and (of course) the hammocks added alot of character and fun, and the location (proximity to beach and restaurants/shopping) could not have been better. It truly was a perfect week, made better by the perfect house!

We went down over the Thanksgiving holiday. The proximity to the beach was good and the house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was a great size and we enjoyed using the grill. The factor that brought the whole experience down was the pool. We paid for it to be heated and it wasn't when we showed up. We called the office and they sent some one over to fix it. The heat was turned on, and then for some reason, around 4:30 in the afternoon it went off. The next day we called again to get the heat fixed in the pool. The guy showed up, didn't have what he needed so he left and never came back. While everything else was nice, the fact that we didn't have a heated pool at night was a real let down for the family considering we chose the house beacause of its heated pool.

We had fantastic weather. Visited the Gulfarium, caught crabs, built sand castles, golfed at the Links and plenty of shopping. The wagon you provide for the beach was a Godsend and the icemaker was heavily utilizied. We really enjoyed our stay, the pool, the hammocks and the house. We started our day in the hammocks and ended our day in the hammocks eating popcorn. We swam, swam and swam even in the rain. While we were here we built sand castles and visited the Naval National Air Museum in Pensacola. Loved having the ice machine for our fresh brewed tea and lemonade. The weather was perfect! We enjoyed the beach, movies, the beach, snorkelling, the beach. Ate at great restaurants and basically had the most wonderful vacation for 2 weeks. Your house is fantastic! We have loved staying here. So many great things about this house and just loved the hammocks and all the porches. Great idea to have the ice machine. Thank you for sharing your home. “The very best company to deal with” My family and I have stayed at several different Newman-Dailey Properties in Destin, Florida for many years now. We have always been treated so well ....they make everyone feel like they are special guests. The employees are so helpful,courteous and professional. Everyone we came in contact with was super. We had a problem with wasps and they took care of immediately. The alarm on the back door came off and they came to fix it right away. The house was in perfect shape, everything was great. Our grandchildren were so impressed. I definitely will go back.

great house. beautifully decorated. friendly neigbors, quiet residental area. Pool small, but good enough for small kids. Could not get the jacuzzi in the master BR to work. Would most definelty stay at this house again. I adored it.

While in hammock heaven, so have a birds eye view on the entire subdivision as well as portions of the bay. Since we had a very laid back schedule, no one ever felt rushed. Kim and I walked down to the beach which was 1 block away.The sand was like walking on sugar and the water was Crystal clear. The house also came with gas grill, so the kids cooked for the adults one evening and the adults cooked for the kids one evening, Great time, great food, great friends! Each house also had a white picket fence and some like hours had swimming pool. Our house was absolutely beautiful and spotless. We stayed in the master bedroom upstairs which what very generous and also had a porch that led up to the stairway to hammock heaven. Newman Dailey gives great service and their customer service is excellent. The house overall was good but a few items need a little attention. Paint peeling on cabinet drawers needed painting, bench in kitchen needed repair, upstairs tvs did not work, and all mattresses need replacing. The location was great near the beach. I liked best the great space of the house.
