Our group of 9 adult women fit perfectly and all raved about this home. Standards with this group were high but we encountered very few negatives. The home was extremely clean and cool (no issues with ac in fans in every room except bunk bed room). Only issue we ran into is that there was not a bath towel for each guest - we were provided 7 and had 9 guests so some of us had to use beach towels. We also cut it close with the toilet paper provided 2/3 bathrooms ran out of tp on the last day and could have used one additional trash bag. Additional things to be aware of no laundry soap was provided at least that we saw so need to bring sheets or pods to do laundry, did not locate any beach items in the house (i.e. beach chairs, coolers, wagon, beach toys) to be fair we did NOT contact to host to see if there were stores somewhere odd or outside but did not locate in the house in an obvious location. Location was also prime, quick drive to everything we wanted to do and near the beach. Pool seems small in photos but we had all 9 of us in there comfortably with floaties. Beware neighbors on both sides were late night parties we could hear their music and yelling till pretty late in the night even from inside the house but none of this bothered us. I believe at least one of these is also a rental so probably just had temporary loud neighbors. Over all 9.8/10 - exceeded expectations, only negative that actually disrupted our trip was running out of tp on our last day.

However, if you are staying for a longer trip or anticipate that you will need more than what we provide, we recommend either picking some up in town or packing additional supplies for your trip. Exactly as advertised. Kitchen fully stocked with all appliances and utensils. Pool may be a bit small for larger groups, but fit us nicely. Only somewhat confusing part was the lights/fans. Had to play around with the controls to find the right mix. Would recommend and stay there again in the future

Overall our experience was wonderful! It was great size for our group of 5. The management was extremely helpful & attentive. The only hiccup we had was in finding our beach chairs because there were numerous vendors. The instructions for that were not very specific.

I can’t say enough nice things about this great house! At one point we had up to 10 people staying there, and we never once felt cramped or crowded. The kids had an amazing time in the bunk room, the kitchen was genuinely a wonderful cooking kitchen, and the heated pool was clutch in saving a slightly chillier weather week. I’ve stayed in a lot of vacation properties, but this was far and away my favorite! A quick walk to the beach, or the cafe around the corner was the perfect addition to an already fabulous stay. We also had to call maintenance to fix a very small issue, and they were out and had it fixed within the hour. Our family had the best time here, and we will definitely be back soon!

This adorable house had everything we could’ve wanted, it was spacious, had a good size pool, grill, a short walk to the beach and a short walk to Camille’s crystal beach cafe which was amazing. It is also a short walk to millers tavern and ruby slipper cafe as well as the destin commons.

Dolphin's Cottage provided a perfect retreat for our 2 families to gather. The house is not large, but it is efficiently laid out and is functional. The location was not too far from the beach and was an easy walk. We did not use the pool as much as we expected to, but it was a good addition nevertheless. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. We would consider staying at Dolphin's Cottage again in the future.

The house was updated and clean. The property owners were quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed the location. The house was a couple block walk to the beach and the free umbrella and chair service was an added bonus! The kids loved the heated pool! We would definitely stay at this house again.

We loved staying here! It was close to grocery stores and restaurants. A short walk to the beach. The private pool was the best. We have small children and it made our whole trip 10000x more enjoyable having a fenced in back yard with the pool. We would definitely stay here again!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The layout of the place was spectacular. The rooms had enough room and everything you would need. The kitchen was awesome. They had all the supplies you would need to cook a complete family meal with no problems. The bathrooms had new towels and wash clothes and was sparkling clean. I really enjoyed this location. Book with them you WON’T be disappointed!

This was our 2nd year staying at Dolphins Cottage and we just love this cute little place! My only complaint is the bed in the master, the mattress appears to be a memory foam with a thick topper on it and it is way too soft! Also, you sink way down in it and it makes me hot and sweaty trying to sleep! My husband weighs 260 and he has a hard time rolling over on the bed while sleeping! The other beds are normal mattresses and are much more comfortable. One other thing is maybe consider a small awning over the back door to the pool. The view of the pool is so nice but during afternoon hours there is to much sun coming in to leave the door blind open to enjoy it! Otherwise we love the house! It is wonderful to have our own pool and the raised ceiling make it both spacious and cozy. The decor is so pretty, I love the. Plot scheme they chose. The kitchen is gorgeous and the dishwasher is super quiet! My husband and I decided when we replace our refrigerator we want one like you have at Dolphins Cottage! We will be back next Summer!

We had a wonderful time @ Dolphin Cottage it was so clean and fresh. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and had lots of room. The pool was a big hit with all of us. The appliance were all great lots of kitchen ware to cook any meal you would want. We had a great time and would love to come back.

The finishes were very nice and the home was very clean and everything was in working order. 4 stars only because the master barhroom was across the hall from master bedroom. The guest bathroom was an jack and jill between the bunkbed room. Other than that we were very pleased. We would visit this home again.

Beautiful, updated house with a great backyard/pool!

Our week at Dolphins Cottage was the best! The home is beautiful and comfortable. The backyard pool area is an oasis. We loved sitting poolside with coffee in the mornings as well as splashing in the pool upon returning from the beach. The beach is such a short and easy walk away! The towels and linens were very nice. The kitchen was well equipped. One could prepare almost anything with the abundance and variety of kitchen necessities. The home was super clean and fresh. In spite of a very open floor plan and the bedrooms being directly off the living space, the house was very quiet; almost like the rooms were sound insulated. Early risers and night owls didn't bother sleepers. We would love to stay there again. One suggestion-- the little bars of soap provided to guests by the housekeeping were made in China--YUCK . There is plenty of made in the U. S. A. soap available!

Two families of 5 stayed for a week. Everyone had beds and it didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Great location. Back yard with pool and chairs is awesome. Wonderful place. Would definitely stay again.

Our group of 4 adults and 3 teenagers had a spectacular time at Dolphins Cottage! The home is clean, cozy, and beautifully furnished. We cooked most meals at the house and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils for everything and the grill was perfect! The beach is a short walk and the pool area is private and relaxing. We have rented homes in various areas and Dolphins Cottage ranks right up there!

This was our 2nd time staying at the Dolphin's Cottage and the updates are AMAZING! It is better than the pictures. We had 8 people - 3 adults and 5 kids ages 12 to 2. This is the perfect house because it is so close to the beach, within walking distance of restaurants and ice cream, and has the perfect size pool for the kids. They have everything stocked in the kitchen that you may need. We had an issue with our internet and the people at Newman Dailey were very responsive and helpful. We absolutely loved our second stay and will probably be back again!

We stayed the week of October 23, 2017, loved the house! It was laid out perfectly for us. We mainly cooked and ate there at the house and sat around the pool. We had a wonderful stay at the Dolphin Cottage during our spring break this year. We had 3 adults and 5 kids from 11 years old to 2 years old. The house was spotless when we arrived! We really enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The pool area was by far our favorite part of the house - it's very private and we heated it which made it wonderful! We will definitely be looking forward to coming to Destin again in the future!

The cottage was exactly as advertised. We had four adults, two teens, and three kids. There was plenty of room for everybody. It was clean and comfortable. The beach is a short walk away, one block. My only suggestion is that if you have some who are early to bed each night, don't put them in the back bedroom. It's closest to the kitchen and the pool, where most of the noise is at night. Great house, great customer service, and a fair price. We'll rent from Newman-Dailey again.

Our family recently stayed at the Dolphins Cottage, 3/28-4/4-15 during our first visit to Destin. We had a fantastic visit and the Dolphins Cottage worked out perfectly for the 4 of us. Plenty of room for all of us. We loved the simple layout and being one floor. Our boys loved the bunk beds and the queen mattresses were very comfortable. The house was very clean and not cluttered with stuff. The heated pool was the highlight of the house. One day the heater was not working and someone was out to fix it promptly. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. The beach was an easy short walk from the house. The house was conveniently located to everyday stores as well as tourist attractions. A great stay and will look into Newman-Dailey Resort Properties again for our future Destin visits! Thank you!

We stayed here for my wedding. it was such a great place for my family. It was open and had a lot of space. The walk to the beach was easy and really convenient. The best part of the house was definitely the pool and backyard area. It was such a relaxing and fun stay with everyone.

No complaints except the pool heater was not operating properly and property management did not tell us we had to request and pay extra for the pool heat. We only got to enjoy the pool one day for $180. Big disappointment for the kids.

Our family recently stayed at the Dolphin Cottage and had a wonderful time. We had read a few reviews about stove issues however we realized the housekeepers just don't put the burners back in correctly after cleaning (easy fix) so really no issues with the stove. You can tell this home is cared for, owners keep it updated, Newman Dailey keeps it clean and they are great to work with. I would highly recommend this home to a friend or family member. The large back yard is a huge asset, we spent most of our time together as a family by the pool making memories of a lifetime. We look forward to planning our next trip.

Our stay at Dolphin's Cottage was a little bit of a different experience than the previous year. Newman Dailey has wonderful customer service and is very easy to work with. The house this year lacked attention to detail. The stove in the kitchen was difficult to use. We had to make a service call to have it repaired. Also the chlorinator in the pool broke sometime early in our stay. The pool became very dirty on day 3 of our stay. Both of these issues were solved quickly by Newman Dailey. The house also lacked the proper amount of working batteries in the TV remotes. Also the silverware in the house is in need of upgrading. The owners need to purchase steak knives. The positives about this house is location, layout and pool in the backyard. The house is a good value for the rental charge. We really liked Newman Dailey and will most likely book with them again, but a different property.

House was nice and clean. The stove had some problems, otherwise fine. The problem was the Newman-Dailey check-in. Check-in is stated as 4pm. We were at the ND office right at 4pm and were told we had to wait till 4:30 to get into the house. No big deal, we went to the grocery store to get food, etc. At 4:30 we still couldn't get into the house. I drove back to the ND office and asked what was going on. It was nearly 5pm by then. Suddenly the house was magically ready when I was standing in front of the customer service agent and they gave me the key code. It was a less than desirable way to start a vacation. Fortunately, every thing else in Destin was great. Nd really needs to work out the cleaning/check-in procedure, or at least care somewhat about first impressions.

This house is perfectly located to eveything! Shopping, beach, restaurants, everything is close by. We loved the pool. We loved the home's decor. The colors of this home and the beachy feel are lovely. It's very homey and our four year old loved the bunk beds.

The staff was extremely nice and caring. we arrived way before check in time and the house was cleaned and ready for us an hour after. We really enjoyed the backyard pool. We spent most of our time there :) The was cozy and had plenty of room. We will definitely be coming back next year!

House was great! Bigger than expected! Perfect for two families. The pool was great for the kids, walk to the beach was 7 mins with 2 toddlers. Beach was beautiful, neighborhood was very nice and quiet, but close enough to restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent again. Only complaint was queen bed in the front bedroom was saggy in the middle and the refrigerator did not get as cold as we would have liked it. Newman-Dailey was wonderful! Dophin's Cottage was extremely nice - 4 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths, 3 blocks from public access to the beach and a backyard swimming pool. The pool was small but still enjoyable, and the cottage itself was a lot bigger than the pictures indicated. We would definitely go back and stay again at Dolphin's Cottage!

Working with Newman-Daily was a breeze. The rep who helped us decide on a property was very knowledgeabe about the Destin area and helped us find a great house to rent that fit all of our needs. We came as a group of 9 which included two families with teenagers. The house was decorated very "beachy" with fun colors and nice furnishings. We really liked the openness of the living room area, dining area, and kitchen which provided great space for us to lounge, relax, and eat. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and dishes we needed to prepare meals. The living room has a nice sectional leather sofa and large ottoman for several people to sit on and the dining area had a large table and plenty of chairs for all of us to eat meals together. We enjoyed the jigsaw puzzles on a rainy day and the tvs. The bathrooms were good-sized and clean. The bedrooms were just a tad small, but we had plenty of room for our luggage in the dressers and closets. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and lawn furniture. It is a very nice pool and the property is well-maintained and has beautiful landscaping. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and only about a block from Crystal Beach. I can't say enough about the beach! Beautiful, clean, not crowded, has a lifeguard on duty, soft sugary sand, super clean water! What we liked best was being in a quiet neighborhood setting with a private pool and only a short walk to the beach. We preferred this over staying in one of the huge high-rise resorts with the hustle and bustle of a zillion people. What was nice is that it is only a 5 or 10 minute drive to the main downtown areas of Destin, so when we were in the mood for that we drove down to spend time there and then could come back and relax at the house. I would definitely stay at Dolphin Cottage again and I highly recommend it. It was perfect for our vacation.

The Dolphins cottage was the perfect place to stay in the Destin area. It was close to the beach, close to Destin Commons (gorgeous outdoor mall) and all the area attractions. The cottage is the perfect size for large and small families. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with a spacious living room and kitchen area. The backyard is awesome! It has a large enough pool to cool off after a long day in the hot sun. Plus it has large deck area to sit around with friends and family to play games or just relax. The cottage is close to the beach and everything but it still sits on a quiet street which was perfect for a great nights sleep! We will definitely be back.

Ideal location and well kept property. Very charming. Nice quiet neighborhood when we were there. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and hope to go again some time. Newman-Dailey was very helpful in all aspects. If I had to pick one aspect that stands out it would be proximity to beach but also food and shopping.

The Dolphin Cottage unit, it's just what we needed. Clean, colorful, comfortable, cozy, accessible. The Newman Dailey staff is very professional and friendly. The check in system is very easy and painless. I will come back to this same unit during the spring 2012, God willing. It would be wonderful if they keep the price the same. We really enjoyed staying at Dolco. The perfect size house for all 9 of us with 1 bunk to spare. Extremely clean and comfortable. One of the queen size beds is a little stiff. The backyard is beautiful, private and so relaxing. An easy walk to the beach. Grocery shopping and the mall is literally a couple minutes away. A very convenient location. We appreciated the coupons that come with the rental. Free golf and kids loved the go carting and rides. I would recommend this to a friend and we will definitely be coming back.

This is a great place for extended family to stay together. Plenty of bathrooms, which is a plus. Bedrooms are small, but you really don't spend a lot of time in there!

Cottage was small but adequate. We were four couples, but bed situation is really for family with several kids. We needed to go out and buy more toilet tissue, some coffee filters, paper towels, dish liquid, dishwasher detergent abd salt& pepper, all of which we thought would be provided. Overall, however, we had a good time.

We enjoyed our stay at Dolphin's Cottage. It was very neat/clean - and there was plenty of room for the entire family.

Everything was turn key. From the time we received the instructions to get to the place. The service crew made everything so simple. The place was just as wonderful as expected. The house was extraordinary and met our needs perfectly. We never would have found it if the service provider hadn't told us about it. We received more for our money than expected and are greatful for the value. We will recommend to our friends to go through Newnan-Dailey when in the need for rest and relaxation at a great price. Thank you for everthing.

Dolphin's Cottage offerred exactly what was promised! It was the perfect vacation home for our family. ..breakfast by the pool, short walks to the beach...afternoon swims...& dinners together with family. It was so nice to have all the amenities needed to cook & entertain, including plenty of room for all of us to eat together & be able to sit and talk!

My family of 8 adults and 2 young children loved our stay at Dolphin's Cottage. The pool was a wonderful relief from the beach for the kids. The house was better than the pictures, clean, and set up perfectly. The only suggestion we have- cut back the cactus in the front yard. While moving around cars in the driveway our little boy was scraped and we had to pick out the needles. Other than that, we really enjoyed and would love to come back next year!

A group of four mature, but never old, ladies spent a week in Destin, as we have done for 10 years. Dolphin Cottage was perfect for us - 4 bedrooms, all down the right hand side of the house, living areas on left - we felt like the 4 bears! Nicely decorated and the pool area is one of the best we've had - good furniture, lots of space, nice landscaping, and thought to plants that don't cause leaves in pool.We did miss having a front porch. Only other issue is that the dryer takes forever to dry - but may be a design flaw that cannot be helped according to staff that investigated. Too bad, as it uses waaay too much power! All in all, a great week - would recommend house without reservation! (Nice neighbors, too!)

The service was excellent, we were well informed. The house was great. The bedrooms alittle smaller than I thought but the were okay. There was anything a person could want or need. The pool was perfect after a day at the beach. We liked not being right on the beach because we were not bothered by a lot of people or noise. The only problem we had was that the dryer did not dry very well, it took forever for things to dry. I must say we would stay again and do plan to in the future. Thank you Brenda Poyer

What a great place to stay. Being on vacation and still having the convenience of a home. No complaints, house is perfect. Pool was great and beach is within walking distance. We will be back next year.

This is a terrific property that would well for a romantic getaway or a large family. Great floorplan, just a short walk from a beautiful beach and within two minutes of numerous restaurants, huge grocery and a top notch mall. Been here twice...plan to return again!

Dolphins Cottage was a perfect location for us and the other family we went on Spring break with. Though is was still a little cool to get in the Gulf, the heated pool was a huge hit with the kids.
