We enjoyed our fabulous room at the Beachside Inn. The front desk and housekeeping staff were amazing. The motel is located in a beautiful location, right across the street from the beach. The rooms were clean and as described. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to sit on the patio furniture outside. On one day, one of our party left their trunk open. The staff called us to let us know. This meant a lot to us as otherwise it would have rained in the trunk! The on site staff show genuine concern for their guests. As a result I would recommend Beachside Inn to anyone looking to have a great Destin vacation.

I recently stayed at the Beachside Inn. If I had to sum it up in one word it would be EXTRAORDINARY!! From the amazing staff to the cleanliness of the room to the outstanding location and amenities. It is definitely the place to be! I can see myself returning year after year. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay for my vacation! It was perfection! I can’t wait to come back!

Everything was amazing including other tenants whom stayed there until last night. The group bin 210 next to us yelled and screamed all night. Slammed doors and ran up and down the stairs. I spoke with them at 2:15 this morning and warned them about the quiet time after 10 pm. And they did not seem considerate of other's. She shrugged her shoulders and went in her room and slammed the door again. We will be returning to Beachside Inn we absolutely loved our time there.

We stayed with our two dogs in May. The hotel is right across the street from the beach and was perfect for us to check on them when we wanted and still have a relaxing time. The hotel reminded me of the great hotels on the Jersey shore that my parents would take us to as kids. Clean, comfortable and friendly. You’ll love it if you are traveling with your furry companions.

Overall 4, although the room was clean,we saw 3 small roaches, one very small live one in the bathroom and 2 long slender by the refrigerator one dead one alive. Other than that the room was great staff very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again and recommend to others.

5 Stars. Our stay was booked at a time when we needed a room only for a brief stay, but the experience was excellent. Particularly the beds and the vanities. As a bonus the complementary coffee and bread (loaf) were a pleasant touch.

The overall experience at the Beachside Inn was wonderful!! My family will definitely go back for a family vacation. The staff was nice and the rooms were exceptional.

This was our second stay at Beachside Inn and it is always amazing! We love that we can bring our dogs and that they are treated like family. The cafe and restaurant are convenient and have delicious food. The inn is in a great location right by the beach, and close to restaurants and shopping. We also really love walking our dogs around the surrounding neighborhoods that are so adorable and quiet. I really can't wait to come back :) thank you Beachside Inn for another wonderful stay and new memories!

La maison de Letizia est un havre de paix.
Les accès sont excellents, l'appartement neuf et les fenêtres situées sur les quatre faces de la maison permettent une vue différente. Le petit balcon donne sur le lac et c'est un ravissement quelque soit l'heure de la journée (ou de la nuit).
Letizia et ses deux filles Elisabetta et Maria sont très sympathiques. Ici l'accueil a un sens.
L'accès au lac est aisé pour la baignade.
A proximité un petit village (Nesso) où vous serez accueillis chaleureusement par Ariana au bar/café La Cascata.
C'est une bonne adresse.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung und in Ballycotton sehr wohl gefühlt. Genossen haben wir auch den schönen Blick auf das Wasser.

Logement conforme aux photos, situé dans un petit quartier très agréable à coté d'une pizzeria, super marché etc..
A deux pas d'un arrêt de bus pour le centre ville, mais le chemin à pied est largement faisable (25 minutes environs..) Accueil chaleureux, avec serviettes, savons, de quoi cuisiner nous même etc.. Je le recommande !

L'appartement n'est pas très grand, mais fonctionnel et surtout très bien équipé. Déco modern et le tout aménagé avec gout. Le lit est comfortable. Pas de clime pour les beaux jours, mais du chauffage pour la basse saison. Quartier calme et une terasse sans vis-à-vis. On est venu en train. La gare est à 200 mètres et un bus part de là direction le quartier St Jean ou Le Vieux Ciotat et à la plage, tout les 30 minutes en juillet/août. Il faudra compter 20 minutes à pied pour déscendre par un petit chemin. Donc finalament sans voiture cela se fait bien. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, bonne communication. Je conseille!

First of all the staff was awesome friendly and one of the few pet friendly place to stay. Very clean and right across the street from beach.

Nothing against the hotel but my recommendation for travelers dogs are not allowed on the beach, I would not recommend traveling with your pooch to Florida.

Love the Beachside Inn it is a prize because you are so close to the beach. The price is great and you get a discount for being a return customer. Love it because you don't have the big condo rules of you are on vacation but you clean all before you leave or you are charged even though you paid an astronomical price to stay. Wish they still had the free breakfast at Camille's but Camille's has changed below average food for tourist prices but smoothes and tuna sandwich great. We have stayed here for over 10 years and I love it great location.

My husband and I enjoyed the one night we spent at Beachside Inn. The room was very nice and comfortable. Loved the blueberry bread from Kara Boos, it was a welcome surprise.

The staff was very accommodating right at the outset of our stay by assisting us with a travel complication. After a long trip we so appreciated their "no problem" attitude. Importantly, you couldn't ask for a better location by the shore with so many services close at hand.

We only stayed two nights and the weather was cold but the place was great. Close to beach - real nice restaurant and coffee shop on the premises. Very dog friendly.

Can't beat the location with an incredibly easy walk to the beach. The first part of the beach you get to has lots of people, with a short walk, the park is easy to get to which has far fewer people. Attractions are within an easy drive. The room was nice with huge mattresses so you had to climb up onto the bed. Enough space for a small table. The bathroom was nice because the toilet and shower were separated from the sink area so two people could be getting ready at the same time. We found this listed under a bed and breakfast. The breakfast part was a bit questionable. Had to ask for the breakfast loaf each day. Office was not open for morning coffee. Ended up buying each morning and note the discount if you bring your own mug. Would have been nice to know that earlier. Cleaning did a pretty good job, but I have had better. They were generous with the towels. Nice pool area with hot tub. Overall we were happy and would be back, still asking for our breakfast loaf.

This hotel is located in a mostly residential area with less noise and traffic than most of Destin. The property is small and somewhat older, but very well maintained. The onsite restaurant is excellent and the bar is a nice place for breakfast, lunch or drinks. What sets it apart for me, however, is the staff. Because its small, they seemed to know everybody who was staying there. Very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a night. The interior was pleasantly surprising. It was clean, neat, and comfortable. It's in very close proximity to the beach, which is makes it convenient. I would definitely stay here again when traveling to Destin.

The location was perfect. We could easily get down to aj's for fun or head out to the outlet mall for shopping. It's also located close to Kelly Plantation and other golf courses. The rooms were spacious especially in the bath area. The tile floors were a nice touch. All in all we loved it and will definitely make it back.

At first, we thought we were going to have a problem with our stay. We booked via Kayak.com, only to find out that Beachside Inn is no longer connected with Kayak and they said that they cannot honor our reservation. But, the kind lady up front (Jess) found a way to get us in even if most of the rooms were booked (and I was able to cancel our previous booking with Kayak). Our rooms were clean and comfortable, altho the beds were a little bit high and was a challenge to climb on to. It had a TV, DVD player, microwave, small fridge, spacious toilet & bath. Not bad for the price + the location is excellent! It is not exactly beach front but you'd only have to cross the street to get to the public access to the beautiful white sandy beach with crystal blue waters... the hotel also had a pool and hot tub, on-site restaurant and bar. The bar closes early (5pm) so we were hoping to grab a bottle of our local Philippine beer that we saw earlier...but it was closed when we returned from our appointment with sunshine. The room came with simple breakfast (coffee or juice + a piece of pastry, danish or bagel). You can always get another breakfast item at a reasonable price, so that wasn't a biggie. It was also close enough to conveniences like supermarkets, shopping areas (Publix, Walgreens, gas stations, etc.) I just found that there weren't too many "local" establishments nearby. I was looking for quaint restaurants, small local shops that sold trinkets made by local artisans. I found these at South Walton area (about 20mins drive)..But the hotel itself was pretty, quiet and peaceful--what we needed to get a good night's rest so we can spend another day tomorrow at the beach! All in all, this hotel is great and we would definitely come back!

The room was very lovely,(had charm). It was very large, furniture and decor was very pretty. The lady at check in was very helpful and nice. The pool area was a little dirty, but so cute the way the pool divided into 2 pools. The only complaints we have are: I had to wipe the bathroom counter off in the corners where there were lots of hair and black dust and the window seal and bottom of curtain was piled high with dust bunnies, the pillows were really thick and very incomfortable on our necks and the bed squeeked every time we moved. I would stay here again though because the rooms really were lovely.

Liked the room, location by the beach, staff at restaurants and office. Only complaint is they say it includes a continental breakfast which is really just a roll and juice. Better than nothing but not what I would call a continental breakfast.

where we stay now when we come for a quick trip. got to check in very early, one minute from Midbay Bridge, excellent dining attached to hotel and close to beach.

when we walked into the room we loved it! it was an awsome room even if it had no view untill wenoticed the bugs. I will say that most were dead but a few were very much alive. We had to go thru all of our stuff when we got home and we did find a cocroch alive in our bags! Yuck

Our Inn has never had a "bug" problem?
If the Inn had been notified that there was even one "bug" in any of our rooms, it would have been investigated, and if necessary, our Pest Control service would have been onsite immediately!
Since your review is the first time we have heard anything about this "potential" issue, we have just now made a thorough investigation. We found no "bug" problem in any room?
The Inn is currently getting even more upgrades and beautification both interior and exterior; for the utmost comfort of our guests and future friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed Beachside Inn on our way to and from Orlando. It was a great, simple, clean, comfortable & easy place to stay...a perfect diversion on our 18 hour journey to and from Texas. The proximity to the beautiful beach was great. We also really enjoyed the pool...very nice! My only (minor) complaint would be the breakfast...the pastries were good, but it would have been nice to have had some fruit or yogurt to go alongside it. That would not be expensive to add and would make your guests feel like they were getting something more substantial for the start of the day.
One other note, your website pictures do not do your property justice! I was very surprised by just how nice this property is upon arrival and would definitely stay there again!

finding a hotel near the beach that allows pets was wonderful. Reconsider not having desk staff through the evening/night. Several people came up to me and wanted to rent a room but could not because there was no desk staff

Our stay was great, the room was outstanding and location was perfect. We were treated great by the staff who was always there to answer any question we had of fill any needs. Nice quiet place with the beach right across the street, and outdoor showers to rinse off before returning to our room. Easy access to everything.

room was clean, however had some issues.
water in shower seemed to take forever to get hot.
shower curtin was moldy
overhead light was too bright - could use a dimmer.

Thank you so much for your review. I just wanted to let you know that we have replaced our circulating pump for our hot water tank. Water now comes out fast and hot. We have also replaced all lighting in every room. A professional tile and carpet cleaner has cleaned all tile and grout in every room.

We needed a room to stay in for one night before we could check into our rental house for the week, because we didn't want to be driving on the 4th. The people at Beachside Inn were very helpful in giving us a room without a lot of hassle.

My family stayed here to celebrate an event and we found the Beachside Inn a great place to be. The rooms were nicely decorated, very comfortable and clean. The staff were outstanding in their friendliness and helpfulness. The fact that you were pet friendly was also a bonus. Our only disappointment was the limited choices in the continental breakfast (cereal OR a muffin; small coffee OR orange juice). We expected a more generous choice of items. We supplemented the limited breakfast with items we purchased at a grocery store, and then had a wonderful time!

This was the second year we stayed at the Beachside end and loved it both times! The price was great, and the beach was right there! The rooms were spacious and always very clean. It was so nice having the coffee shop right there as well as the restaurant onsite. We also really loved the pool. We always travel with our dog, so finding a great hotel at a value rate, that takes dogs and is right across the street to the entrance to the beach is such a great find! Friendly staff also. The staff and other people staying there were so friendly - what a find!
