My Destin Beach Memories Fall Photo Contest Winners

1^st Place: Harry J.

Harry rallied his friends and family to vote for his gorgeous photo of the beach earning him a stay at the recently renovated Beachside Inn in Crystal Beach.

Here’s what Harry shared about their beach vacation in his photo submission entry:

“This was an interesting trip for reasons that would only be special to us. We are Jehovah's Witnesses and there is only 1.3 million in the U.S. We stayed in Seaside Treasure, across from Bad Ass Coffee; The other half of the house was a couple from Illinois, the house next to us had a couple from Kentucky. We met on the beach and lo and behold both families were Jehovah's Witnesses as well. That was really special and shows how it’s such a small world. But it really enhanced our time on the most beautiful beaches ever.”

We agree. We hear love hearing the MANY stories of special connections, running into old friends and making new friends at the beach.

2^nd Place: Jeannine K.

Jeannine rallied her friends and family to vote for their fun and silly group striking a pose on their beach vacation. Here’s what Jeannine shared with her photo entry:

“Photographer said on the count of 3 do a pose and the photo so you what a great time we are having and how nutty we all are.”

As for her Newman-Dailey vacation rental, she shared “Your home was very homey and really very spacious. Any questions we had was answered very quickly. The pool was an awesome treat for my family. We hopefully we be back soon.”

“This is my daughter who just turned 5. We have come to Destin/Miramar Beach every year since she was born. It’s the highlight of her year!”

She captioned her photo: “Jump into Adventure with childlike spirit!”
