We’re delighted to be welcoming families to the beaches of South Walton and Destin for Easter 2021! Spring is here and the beaches are beautiful! Now, let’s stay safe. Here are some of the fun South Walton and Destin Easter activities, events, and dining options along the Beaches of South Walton and Destin, Florida for Easter Weekend 2021:

April 3 & 4: Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s invites families to celebrate spring by offering free photos with the Easter Bunny. Families who make a free advanced reservation can receive a free studio-quality 4x6 color photo, with the option to upgrade to a series of photo packages. Free advance digital reservations are required for all participants and can be made online at basspro.com/easter.

(Additional health measures will be in place for everyone’s safety: Temperature screenings prior to entry, physical distancing between families, contact-less experience with physical barrier in place, face coverings worn by team members, with customer requirements based on local guidelines) Photo hours (free advance reservations required) are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 3; and 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 4.

April 3 & 4 Easter Bunny at Lulu's: Bring the family and hop on over to LuLu’s on April 3-4 to check out the grand opening of the Lucky Buffett's LuLu's Beach Arcade, and see the tropically clad Easter Bunny. He will be on hand for free socially distanced photo ops with the kids both days from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be visiting with boys and girls and giving them Easter gift bags with candy, crafts and plastic eggs. Four lucky children will find “Golden Eggs” in their gift bags with a $100 Arcade play card. Free $20 Arcade play cards will be given to the first 50 kids on April 3-4. Destin Egg Hunt

April 3: The City of Destin will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt Drive-Thru on Saturday, April 3, at Morgan Sports Center, 4200 Indian Bayou (east parking lot), from 9-11 a.m. Staff will distribute treats, prizes, and Easter eggs for patrons to collect safely from the comfort of their vehicle.

Easter Explosion

April 3: Hop on over to the Village of Baytowne Wharf from 12-3 p.m. April 3 for a day filled with family-friendly entertainment, face-painting, arts and crafts and more. Also, don’t forget to get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Address: 9300 Baytowne Wharf Blvd, Miramar Beach

Grayt Easter Race

April 3: The 2021 Grayt Easter Race will take place at Grayton Beach State Park April 3. The event will offer three different courses to choose from: the CLEAN FEET 5K course, the DIRTY FEET 5K course and, brand new, the STINKY FEET 10K course. Start and finish lines will be adjacent to the pavilion at the end of Main Park Road within the park. Staggered start times from 7-9:15 a.m. will be used as a COVID-19 precautionary measure. Up to 30 runners will start each wave. The awards ceremony begins at 10 a.m. and all registered runners will receive a race shirt. The race benefits Communities of Transformation of South Walton. Lulu’s Easter, New Arcade

Beer-ster Egg Hunt

April 4: The annual adult Easter egg hunt at Idyll Hounds in Santa Rosa Beach is back April 4 at Idyll Hounds. The brewery hides various canned beers and eggs with prizes around the outdoor space for adults to hunt with “6-pack Easter baskets.” The event is ticketed and includes the found 6-pack of beer and whatever hidden brewery goodies the participants find.

April 3: Blue Mountain Bakery Easter Pick Up/ Reheat Meal

 Blue Mountain Bakery is offering Easter to-go meals. Orders can be placed until March 31. All meals are precooked and packaged with reheat instructions.  April 4: Easter Lunch To-Go at Vue on 30A

Celebrate Easter with a delicious meal at home from Vue on 30A. The meal includes a salad, entrée and dessert. April 4: WaterColor Inn & Resort Easter Brunch To-Go

WaterColor Inn will be offering curbside pickup for its delectable Easter Brunch. Orders may be placed by emailing [email protected] a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Orders will be available for pickup between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. April 4 at The Gathering Spot, located at WaterColor Inn. Orders will be available within 30 minutes of their requested time. April 4: Easter Brunch Buffet & Egg Hunt at The Gulf on Okaloosa Island: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Brunch will be served on Easter Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Gulf Restaurant on Okaloosa Island, 1284 Marler Ave. The egg hunt for kids will start at 1 p.m.

April 4: Easter Celebration Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Easter is egg-citing at The Island, 1500 Miracle Strip Parkway SE. Bring your family April 4 to an Easter egg hunt on the beach followed with a brunch spread at Fish House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The Easter egg hunts will be tiered by ages, with ages 0-3 from 10 a.m. to 10:10 a.m., ages 4-7 from 10:20 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and ages 8-12 from 10:40 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. Easter baskets will be available for purchase in our market or you are welcome to bring your own Easter baskets for the egg hunts. April 4: Easter Bunny at HarborWalk Village: 2 to 4 p.m.

Visit the Easter Bunny on the main stage from 2 to 4 p.m. April 4 at 34 Harbor Blvd.in Destin. Receive a free 4x6 photo along with children’s activities and a golden egg treasure hunt.
