Almost Maine Comes to Destin

We are blessed with the beauty of the Emerald Coast, which is also an inspiration for the arts. There are a growing number of performing arts organizations in Destin. In addition to the many productions at Northwest Florida State College Mattie Kelly Arts Center, which features the Northwest Florida Ballet, we now have the Emerald Coast Theatre Company.

Beginning Feb. 5, the Emerald Coast Theatre Company will present John Cariani’s popular romantic comedy, Almost, Maine, every weekend in February. This sweet, romantic comedy is made up of nine vignettes depicting the residents of Almost, Maine, as they fall in and out of love in unexpected and entertaining ways. This production celebrates love and is a great complement to Valentine’s Day.

Almost, Maine will be presented at The Market Shops at Sandestin. The production is PG-13 and performances will be held at 7:30 PM on February 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, and 26-27, and at 2:00 PM on February 7, 14, 21, and 28. Tickets range from $12 - $20/adult.
