Destin 5K, 10K & Half Marathon, Jan. 25

Calling all runners! Many of our guests' goals for 2014, include beating existing run times and participating in more marathons. Kick off your New Year’s Resolution by participating in a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon in Destin, Florida! 

Hosted by the Destin Chamber of Commerce, the Fourth Annual Bayou, Bay & Back Run/Marathon will celebrate “Superheroes” and everyone is encouraged to come in costume!

The scenic 10K and Half Marathon courses are USA Track & Field-certified. While all courses are set alongside Destin waterways, the half marathon course yields breathtaking views of the Choctawhatchee Bay, Destin Harbor, and East Pass, while participants traverse a 4-mile undeveloped stretch of Okaloosa Island, and back.

Bring the family for the 1-mile kids fun run and let their inner superhero enjoy the fun overcoming evil and finishing the race. After the Awards Ceremony, the Superhero Party will move to Fudpucker’s on Okaloosa Island. All Superheros will enjoy a 50% discount until 4 p.m. and 1-Mile Fun Run participants also receive a $5 coupon for post-race arcade tokens, redeemable during the Superhero Party at Fudpucker’s on Okaloosa Island, only on race day.

Race Times:
7:30 a.m. - Half Marathon begins
8:30 a.m. - 5K/10K begins
10:30 a.m. - 1-Mile Fun Run begins
10:45 a.m. - Awards Ceremony begins
