Memorial Day in Beaches of South Walton

Summer is almost here! We're looking forward to a fantastic Memorial Day weekend along the beaches of South Walton and Destin, Fla.

 As you plan your beach weekend itinerary, consider some of the fun outdoor concerts taking place up and down the coast. Along Scenic Highway 30A(near Seacrest Beach and Seagrove Beach), our friends at Sinfonia Gulf Coast have a special Memorial Day concert prepared for Sunday night (May 26) in Alys Beach.

Led by conductor Demetrius Fuller, Sinfonia Goes Pops at Alys Beach will bring the orchestral sounds of this talented orchestra to the amphitheater at Alys Beach and the performance will conclude with a fireworks display over the Gulf. Bring blankets, lawn chairs and a picnic and relax with live music under the stars. Piper's will also offer food and beverages for purchase.
