30A Wine Festival, March 9-10

We've been focusing on February events and as we near the end of the month, we're fast forwarding to March and April to spotlight the many spring wine festivals planned along the Emerald Coast.

On March 9-10, the second annual 30A Wine Festival is returning to Alys Beach. This intimate two-day event takes participants through a wine journey like no other. From wine seminars to wine tastings and pairings to a wine symposium, some of the country's most celebrated wine professionals will converge in Alys Beach to share their ideas, inspirations, and talents to benefit local children. 

On Saturday , Kelly Green will host the Walkabout Grand Tasting, featuring more than 60 wines with food pairings from Café Thirty-A, Maestro 2300, and Caliza Restaurant, among others. After the sun goes down, Kelly Green will be transformed into swanky club setting with live music by the Chillbillies, whose cool rhythm and blues will keep guests entertained into the night.

Sunday's finale is the special "Rosé & Croquet" brunch, featuring a creative brunch menu by participating restaurants that pairs beautifully with the featured Rosé varietal. A Bloody Mary bar and mimosa station provide guests other options.

Proceeds from the 30A Wine Festival benefit the Children's Volunteer Health Network, which provides comprehensive, direct medical, dental and mental health services to school-age children in Walton and Okaloosa County whose family cannot afford needed health services.
