Best Pools for Olympic Size Fun



 We've been thoroughly enjoying the 2012 Olympic Games, and watching Team USA swim for Gold has made us want to swim a lap or two of our own. So today we're highlighting some of our vacation rentals with pools that offer Olympic-size fun.

South Walton:  Sanctuary at Redfish: Tiered Pools (Scenic Highway 30A)
Overlooking a scenic coastal dune lake, the pool deck at Sanctuary at Redfish consists of three tiered pools, two Jacuzzi's, a fire pit, four grills and poolside cabanas. All of this luxury is integrated into the lush semi-tropical foliage, which includes the blue Gulf Coast lupine for which Blue Mountain Beach is named.

 The lush, spacious pool deck at Beach Resort is complemented by an umbrella waterfall and hot tub. The large zero-edge, lagoon pool is ideal for parents to wade in slowly with little ones or sunbathers who want to stay cool while soaking up the sun .

Destin: Jade East - Pool with a View (Emerald Coast Parkway)
 Overlooking the sugar white sands and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the pool at Jade East offers expansive views of the pristine beaches. With the beach just steps away, the sound of the waves and seagulls complemented by warm sea breezes make it more fun to lounge than swim laps. Encircled by palm trees, the pool includes a Jacuzzi and plenty of chairs for relaxing.
